About the Planters

Sean and Averi share a deep conviction that faith is meant to move beyond belief into action. Their lives and leadership have been shaped by learning the difference between religion and the grace of Jesus—a journey that continues to inform how they love people and lead the church.

After over a decade serving in local church ministry in Colorado, they have had a front-row seat to the transforming work of Jesus through discipleship, leadership development, and life change. During that season, they also stepped into foster care, a journey that led to the adoption of their three children in 2021.

Today, Sean and Averi are passionate about the local church as a catalyst for renewal in the city—developing young leaders, building healthy teams, and living out a faith that moves. That shared calling is what led them to plant Movement Church.
